Welcome, I'm Lee Rooney a freelance creative director with some 25 years under my belt. I’ve brainstormed and brain-dumped, created and crafted, presented and persuaded, directed and delivered for some of the most imaginative, forward thinking and creative clients and agencies around. I’ve worked below the line, through the line, above the line and occasionally stepped across the line. Worked across all media platforms from PR to print, digital to experiential, viral to VR and everything in between.
I’ve sent a man skywards on a chair tied to thousands of balloons, entertained call centre staff with
a leaf blower, made a stunt man leap from one moving bus to another, stood shoulder to shoulder with real life superheroes, asked triathletes to show me their raceface, mixed cocktails with the Worlds Best Bartender, marketed smartphones to the habitants of African shanty towns, launched the first touch smartphone months ahead of the iPhone and stopped traffic in a major shopping centre.
I thrive on creativity, learning and adapting to new media platforms and creative executions. I’m
a planner a natural organiser, I make it my point to understand what’s required, approaching the problem head on, and developing campaigns that work holistically, while staying within budget.
I am driven, motivate and inspired, I have the ability to work hand in hand with creative / account / clients on all levels and make sure everything runs smoothly on the most demanding projects,
even through the toughest of times.
I’m as hands on as I need to be, I’m as good on the tools as I am off, I’m proficient with all internal and external team’s members from photographers and progammers to copywriters and illustrators.

I have had the privilege of flexing my interior design muscle on a personal project that I completed
9 years ago. After years of planning I managed to turn an old cattle barn into a contemporary modern 4 bed family home.
GOLF
As a teenager I spent most of my day dreaming of joining the likes of Seve, Watson, Faldo and Nicklaus on tour, but when givien the chance to turn professional I opted for a career in marketing and advertising. Plans are now set to work towards joining the seniors tour at the age of 50
